Dave Prentis: Labour leadership candidates should join Corbyn's Shadow Cabinet

Unison general secretary Dave Prentistold Sky News' Murnaghan show the Labour leadership candidates would hopefully join Jeremy Corbyn'sShadow Cabinet.

"I actually think the other candidates in the election have got a lot to offer, whether it be Andy whether it be Yvette, they are really experienced politicians. And hopefully they will come on board and become part of Jeremy's Shadow Cabinet. I mean, the good thing about the Shadow Cabinet is it will be 50% women, so changes are being made. But I really hope that the more experienced people within the party will all come in together and take the party forwards. We need the Labour party to win at the next election."

Mr Prentis also said Mr Corbyn should not water down his agenda, and insisted Labour had to be more than "two centimetres" away from the Tories in its policies.
