Nominations have opened for the Swim England National Awards 2017 which celebrate the achievements of people and organisations within swimming and aquatics.

Each day people across the aquatics industry work hard to provide opportunities for people to take to the pool. The Swim England National Awards highlight these achievements, as well as those of participants of all ages.

Swim England CEO, Jane Nickerson, said: “Our vision is a nation swimming, and we are committed to ensuring there are opportunities for everyone to regularly take to the water. However, this is only possible with the support and commitment of our dedicated workforce, volunteers and organisations delivering these opportunities on the ground.

“The Swim England National Awards recognise the hard work of these people, who dedicate their time and passion to drive themselves or others to achieve extraordinary things. It is a showcase of the journeys people take within the world of aquatics, and a celebration of the things they achieve on the way.”

Now in its third year, the National Awards have taken on the new Swim England identity following the organisation’s rebrand in April.
