Go-Ahead has been highly commended for building public trust at PWC's annual Building Public Trust Awards.

As the only listed company outside the FTSE100 to be recognised, Go-Ahead was praised for its strong vision and strategy, linking directly to its contribution to society. Judges noted “Go-Ahead’s performance against its KPIs is presented clearly and honestly, with a clear link to its social impact”.

Group commercial and customer director, Katy Taylor said: “I am pleased we have been highly commended. It recognises our commitment to embedding our vision and strategy and shows the multitude of ways we contribute to the communities we serve, from getting people to work, helping the unemployed attend interviews, and taking people to education, hospital visits and to see friends and family.”

“As the only FTSE250 company recognised at the awards, this demonstrates the priority our Board places on clear, honest reporting, designed to engage the full range of stakeholders.”

The PWC Building Public Trust Awards were created to recognise and reward trust, transparency and societal contribution through corporate reporting.
