The Go-Ahead Group is announcing its 95% score during Responsible Business Week (24-29 April 2017 #RBWeek), the annual campaign encouraging businesses to increase their positive contribution to society.

Commenting on the results of the sustainability index, Sarah Boundy, corporate communications director for The Go-Ahead Group said:

"Running our business sustainably is the way we ensure we are successful for the long-term. This score demonstrates our commitment to being a responsible employer and public transport operator. Our bus and rail companies are an important part of their local communities providing vital transport services benefiting society while being committed to minimising their impact on the environment."

Business in the Community is the Prince's Responsible Business Network. It is a business-led charity with more than 30 years' experience of mobilising business to work together to tackle a wide range of issues that are essential to creating a fairer society and a more sustainable future.
