The Parliament's People Awards recognises the inspirational teams and individuals who have impressed and shown dedication and commitment to supporting a thriving parliamentary democracy.

The Awards are open to all staff from parliamentary and constituency offices, and those employed by the House of Commons, House of Lords and the Parliamentary Digital Service.

Westminster Staffer of the Year – Conservative Party

This Award recognises a staffer who currently works in the Westminster Office of a Conservative Member of Parliament or Peer, who has gone above and beyond.

Westminster Staffer of the Year – Labour Party and Labour/Co-Operative

This Award recognises a staffer who currently works in the Westminster Office of a Labour Party or Labour/Co-Operative Member of Parliament or Peer, who has gone above and beyond.

Westminster Staffer of the Year – Scottish National Party

This Award recognises a staffer who currently works in the Westminster Office of a SNP Member of Parliament, who has gone above and beyond.

Westminster Staffer of the Year – Crossbench, Independent, Liberal Democrat or Other Parties

This Award recognises a staffer who currently works in the Westminster Office of a Member of Parliament or Peer sitting as an independent, a Liberal Democrat, a Crossbencher or representing any other party, who has gone above and beyond.

Constituency Staffer of The Year – All Parties

This Award recognises a staffer who currently works in the Constituency Office of a Member of Parliament representing any political party, who has gone above and beyond.

Parliamentary In-House Team of the Year

Parliament relies on the work of thousands of members of staff working across the House of Commons, House of Lords, and Parliamentary Digital Service to help towards the smooth running of Parliament. This Award recognises a team that has gone above and beyond.

Diversity and Inclusion

This Award recognises an individual or team who has championed D&I awareness and issues and has contributed to developing a diverse and inclusive environment in Parliament.

Parliamentary In-House Individual of the Year

Parliament relies on the work of thousands of members of staff working across the House of Commons, House of Lords, and Parliamentary Digital Service to help towards the smooth running of Parliament. This Award recognises an individual that has gone above and beyond.

Openreach Special Award for Connecting Communities

The role of Parliament in supporting communities is celebrated with the unique Openreach Special Award. This Award recognises an individual or team that has gone the extra mile to support communities and society in their work; whether that is through working with local groups, community or health hubs, schools or business to enhance connections in their constituency; conducting policy research around a challenging issue facing the vast range of communities in the UK or working on a campaign speech to give a voice to their local community concerns.

The Judge's Award for Outstanding Contribution to Parliament

This Award recognises an individual who has shown outstanding dedication and commitment to help make Parliament a better place and will be chosen by the Judges.

The Speaker's Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Commons

This Award recognises an individual or team who has shown outstanding dedication and commitment to help make the House of Commons a better place and will be chosen by The Speaker.

The Lord Speaker's Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Lords
