Build Back Better: The role of Inclusive Capitalism in Britain’s housing and cities
Wednesday 25th November | 09:30 - 10:15
Legal & General are hosting a virtual panel debate to discuss how Inclusive Capitalism can ‘build back better’ across Britain’s towns and cities.
Inclusive Capitalism is designed to improve everyone’s life by boosting the economy from the ground up, and then sharing success with investors, customers and society.
In this discussion, we are bringing together key thinkers to explore how we use the power of Inclusive Capitalism to ‘Build Back Better’, in the 2020s. We will focus on how to use the power of the ageing society to drive socially useful, decarbonising growth across the whole of the UK.
The panel conversation will consider the realities of Building Back Better, looking at issues such as: housing; the development of the retirement community movement in the UK; urban regeneration in towns and cities beyond London; and the digital and physical infrastructure needed to Build Back Better.
Speakers:
> Lord Best
> Rt Hon Liam Byrne MP
> Phil Bayliss, CEO of Later Living, Legal & General
> Michael Voges, Executive Director, Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO)
> Anne Ashworth, Property and Finance Writer & Commentator (Chair)
