Net Zero Week in Parliament 2025
Venue & Event Details
Net Zero Week is openly inviting MPs and policy aides, Peers and civil servants to attend events taking place between Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th July.
Net Zero Week, the UK’s official national awareness week back by government and industry, is celebrating its fifth anniversary in July. To mark this milestone, the founder, Shawn Coles, is bringing a delegation of organisations to parliament to engage with all policymakers on a variety of net zero topics.
Several, net zero focused, members of parliament are backing Net Zero Week in Parliament and sponsoring events across the agenda, including Bill Esterson MP, Mike Reader MP, Will Stone MP, Perran Moon MP, James Naish MP, Alex Sobel MP, Wera Hobhouse MP, Mike Martin MP and Lauren Edwards MP.
“There’s nothing more important for national security or improving people’s living standards than truly reaching net zero. Net Zero Week in Parliament, is an opportunity for Business, Academia and Government to get together and make a difference.” Will Stone MP, Business Champion for Net Zero
“I am very excited that Net Zero Week in Parliament will bring together voices from across the spectrum to address the urgent need for climate action. This is a crucial moment to drive forward our policies, amplify our commitments, and take bold steps towards a sustainable future for all. I look forward to the discussions that we will have across the event.” Wera Hobhouse MP
“I’m absolutely delighted to support Net Zero Week in Parliament because the more we can impress on people our Government’s commitment to the triple benefits of climate action, energy security and job creation the closer it comes to reality.” Perran Moon MP, Business Champion for Renewables, Critical Minerals and Electric Vehicles
