CPI's Director of Packaging Affairs and Recovered Paper Sector Manager at the Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition

Two industry experts from Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) will be present at the 2013 Recycling and Waste Management (RWM) Exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham on 10-12 September 2013.
CPI’s Director of Packaging Affairs Andy Barnetson will be participating in the
‘Optimising Packaging’ session in the Commerce and Industry Theatre on Thursday 12 September at 11.00am.
Alongside Andy, confirmed panellists include Kevin Corby, Business Improvements Manager, BQ; Ken Mulholland, Environment Sustainability Manager, Brakes, and Jane Bickerstaffe, Director, INCPEN. The session will
be chaired by Claire Shrewsbury, Programme
Area Manager – Packaging, WRAP in what should be a lively discussion about overcoming the conflicts of material minimisation, product functionality and shelf-desirability, and tackling PRN transparency.
Stuart Pohler, CPI Recovered Paper Sector Manager, will be participating in the ‘Feedstock’ panel in the Energy from Waste Theatre on Thursday 12 September at 12.10pm.
Stuart will be joining the panel to discuss ‘how will compositional changes and increased competition impact the long-term viability of energy from waste options?’ Alongside Stuart, the panel will include Andrew Howe, Technical Director, SKM Enviros and Prof Ian Williams, Professor in Engineering and the Environment, University of Southampton, with the session chaired by Adam Read, Global Practice Director for Waste Management Resource Efficiency, Ricardo AEA.
As in 2012, CPI will again be hosting a stand in the Materials Village (F12), where delegates can " nd all of the latest Paper Industry information including factsheets, Annual Reviews and a Paper Myths and Facts booklet, as well as have the opportunity to discuss issues directly with experts from the CPI team.
