The Mayor of London’s consultation on his trillion pound London Infrastructure Plan 2050 closed this week.

The plan sets out the GLA’s ambitions for future infrastructure investment to allow the capital to continue to operate efficiently and successfully during a time of unprecedented population growth. London First has welcomed the Plan as a significant step forward in London’s capability to plan effectively for its future growth. We have also made a number of suggestions as to how it can be strengthened ahead of final publication next year.

Many thanks to all members who contributed views. London First will continue to support and challenge the GLA as it develops a final plan, which it now intends to publish in March 2015 around the time of our London Infrastructure Summit.
