Venue & Event Details
Net Zero Week 2026, sponsored by Balfour Beatty, is the UK’s official national awareness week and is backed by government and industry. Across the week, 4-10 July, events will take place online and in Parliament.
Online events
We will host an online conference on the 8-9 July, curated by net zero stakeholders, that attracts up to 3,500 delegates. The online sessions are all free to attend.
This year we have a very special guest speaker - a former NASA astronaut. Ron Garan will share what the perspective from space revealed: that the challenges we face on the ground, including the race to net zero, looks different from altitude. And different is exactly what we need right now.
Net Zero Week in Parliament
On the 6-7 July, we will host a dinner and drinks reception in the House of Commons, and three roundtable discussions in Portcullis House, covering:
- Affordable Energy Bills in a Volatile World
- Advancing the UK Battery Sector
- Powering Data Centres: How can the UK ensure a ready supply of secure energy to meet the demand of AI?
We encourage MPs, peers and civil servants to attend the events.
