British Precast Annual Dinner Celebrates the Success of the Industry

The Annual Dinner, supported by CEMEX, brought the industry together for an evening of entertainment and presentation of the prestigious Best Practice Awards.

British Precast members who had submitted entries for the 4 award categories: Health Safety, Innovation, Project and Sustainability were all congratulated and the winners were announced as follows:

  • Health Safety Award: Aggregate Industries – for Load Security

  • Innovation Award: HAVSco – for Hand/Arm Vibration Monitoring

  • Project Award: Thorp Precast – for Admiral Headquarters, Cardiff

  • Sustainability Award: H+H – for Energy Management System Reduction

The winners of the award for Outstanding Contribution to Health Safety were also announced during the evening. These were:

  • Nick Moore – Brett Landscaping Building Products

  • Wayne Smith – Stanton Bonna Concrete

  • Chris Dane – Brett Landscaping Building Products

  • Cebastone Workforce - Forticrete

Andrew Minson, Executive Director of British Precast, said, “The Annual Dinner was a fantastic evening and a great opportunity for the precast industry to get together to network and celebrate their success of the past year. We are already looking forward to bigger and better celebrations next year!”
