“Due recognition for transport operators” says RHA
The Road Haulage Association is delighted that so many member companies were recognised at this year’s Motor Transport Awards; those who were shortlisted and those who made it to the finals.
“The annual Motor Transport Awards have become synonymous with excellence”, said RHA Chief Executive Geoff Dunning. “We are delighted that the hard work has paid off for all of the winners. All are worthy winners and great ambassadors for a great industry. Final congratulations go to Elddis Transport (Consett) on receiving the most coveted award, that of Haulier of the Year”.
As the RHA has said on many occasions, the UK road freight industry is an accurate barometer when it comes to judging the state of the rest of the economy.
Based on these results, the economy is doing very well indeed. And as far UK plc is concerned, the road freight sector is, without doubt, the outright winner.
