Heathrow, the UK’s hub airport, has today announced an exciting new Christmas partnership with top fashion illustrators Daisy de Villeneuve, Clym Evernden and Fifi Lapin and renowned fashion blogger Emily Johnston. From today, passengers travelling through the airport and looking to give their gifts a bit of added sparkle, can have them stylishly-wrapped in boxes or gift bags, featuring stunning limited edition designs from the fashion favourites.

The wrapping facility is free-of-charge in all terminals, with the option to make a donation to Oxfam and will be available for all gifts purchased in the departure lounge; ensuring presents are stocking-ready before boarding. Heathrow is home to numerous luxury and high street favourites, from John Lewis to Burberry and Zara to Prada; so those travelling through will be spoilt for choice when picking up gifts for their loved ones.

The illustrators and bloggers are some of the biggest names in the fashion industry and between them have collaborated with numerous globally-renowned designer and high street brands. Their limited edition designs offer stylish wrapping for everyone, whether it’s gifts for colleagues or friends, children, parents or partners, and will add a touch of glamour to stocking-fillers or eagerly-awaited wish list gifts.

Daisy de Villeneuve has taken the fashion world by storm with a string of high profile collaborations under her belt, including the likes of Topshop, Nike, Moët Chandon and Vogue. She is the author of three quirky illustrated books and her work has been acquired by the VA for their permanent collection. Daisy’s delicate sprigs of mistletoe showcase the illustrator’s renowned felt-tip style. “I love bright colours but at the same time wanted to create a traditional festive design,” said London-born Daisy. “I’m a huge fan of all things Christmas and love nothing more than giving (and receiving) a beautifully wrapped gift. I believe the presentation says a lot about the thought that has gone in to it.”

Award-winning Clym Evernden is the go-to name in fashion for illustration, set design and animation, with a client list boasting Louis Vuitton, Moët Hennessy and Vanity Fair amongst others. Clym created a vintage-inspired design featuring a couple kissing under the mistletoe in his signature ink-based style, making it perfect for that special someone this year. “There’s something romantic about Christmas – the atmosphere, the anticipation and being with loved ones – which I was aiming to capture. I wanted there to be warmth and a human quality to the design,” said Clym. “I want people to smile when they see what’s on the outside, as well as what’s inside,” he added.

Fluffy fashionista, Fifi Lapin, has become the belle of the style world since the launch of her eponymous blog. Dubbed “the world’s most stylish bunny” by ELLE magazine, she has designed capsule collections for brands such as Juicy Couture and ranges such as greetings cards that feature her image, which are sold in fashion-forward locations such as the VA. Fifi features centre stage in her colourful, kitsch design, that’s the perfect finishing touch for budding It-bunnies. Fifi commented: “I was hopping for joy when I was asked to collaborate with Heathrow on this project. It gave me an excuse to dress up in my glitziest party outfit – well, just think of all those Christmas trees I’ll be sitting under. I’ve got to look my bunny best!”

Emily Johnston is Editor of Fashion Foie Gras, a site that regularly features in "top fashion blogs" round-ups. Emily has worked with prestigious brands including Ralph Lauren, Hermes and Michael Kors and produced a festive take on her signature goose logo. The monochrome design is ideal for adding a touch of glamour to gifts for him or her. “Not only was I excited to get creative, but it’s a privilege to be involved in a project that gives something back to a great charity like Oxfam,” said Emily. “So now you can shop ‘til you drop and put your feet up with a glass of mulled wine knowing that your pressies are looking great and your donation has made a difference to someone this Christmas.”

Jonathan Coen, Retail Director at Heathrow, said: “We’re very proud of the retail experience at Heathrow and are home to over 450 brands across the airport, meaning those travelling to visit loved ones will have lots to choose from when looking for that perfect present. From luxury fragrances to the latest gadgets, there’s something for everyone, and for anyone struggling to make up their minds, our Gift Helpers will be on hand to offer expert insight and help with all aspects of your Christmas shopping – from choosing to carrying and wrapping.”

“We wanted to offer our passengers something extra special this year so we’re thrilled to reveal our limited edition gift bags and boxes, designed by some of the most celebrated British fashion illustrators and bloggers. And what better time to spread some festive cheer by raising much-needed funds for our charity partner, Oxfam.”
