Airbus employees, Alan Woodruff, Head of Plant Programmes, and Jack Gannon, Airbus graduate, recently attended a reception for award winners at Buckingham Palace.

Mr Gannon, 26 from Liverpool, works on the A320 Family programme at the Broughton plant and submitted the company’s successful application for a Queen’s Award for Enterprise,

In April, Airbus was announced as a winner of the Queen’s Award for International Trade, for outstanding overseas sales growth over the last three years and recognises Airbus’ commitment to adapt and develop in line with market needs in order to achieve planned growth.

The reception was held in the same week as the Farnborough Air Show, where Airbus announced record sales for the event totalling around US$75 billion
