Shale gas and ‘fracking’ debate Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) | Chartered Institute of Environmental Health 1 min read15 August 2014 Partner content On 21 July 2014 Scientists for Global Responsibility (SGR) and the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) published a report which reviewed current evidence across a number of issues associated with shale gas extraction by hydraulic fracturing (fracking). These included environmental and public health aspects and socio-economic considerations. The CIEH issued a media release which can be found here.
