Background: Having worked within the voluntary sector (animal welfare) at senior level for some twenty-seven years, Steve Goody originally entered The Blue Cross as director of companion animal welfare. Steve has worked as field director with dogs trust, and is now the director of external affairs with The Blue Cross, in charge of the national reputation of Britain's pet charity.
He is chairman of the Northern Ireland Companion Animal Welfare Committee (NICAWC), vice chairman of the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes and is a trustee of the Society for Companion Animal Studies (SCAS) and Pet Fostering Services Scotland (PFSS).
