Letter to UK parents concerned about the supply of formula milk products

BSNA have written a letter to UK parents concerned about the supply of formula milk products

To our customers,

We know that the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) is of concern – especially so for those people with young children. As manufacturers of products that feed the most vulnerable in our society, we take our responsibilities very seriously.

We would like to reassure parents that each company is working with their production facilities to respond to any increased demand during this period.

We are therefore working with retailers to ensure that parents will continue to be able to find our formula products on shelves. We are also working closely with their supply chain teams to make sure that our formula products get to individual stores as quickly as possible.

In addition, each individual company has a Careline that you can speak to should you have any questions about the products. Manufacturers’ Carelines cannot send products directly to consumers or provide advice on which stores have stock available.

We ask everyone to be considerate in the way they shop and we will continue to work with retailers to ensure there is sufficient formula milk available for everyone that needs it.
