Save the Children respond to the appointment of Anne-Marie Trevelyan as International Development Secretary. 

Kevin Watkins, Chief Executive of Save the Children, said:

“I am pleased to welcome Anne-Marie Trevelyan to the role of Secretary of State for International Development. She has the great privilege of leading a Department that provides British leadership on the world stage and is responsible for saving and changing lives in the toughest places on earth.
