We are delighted to announce that our #5GCheckTheFacts campaign has been shortlisted in the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) Digital Awards, under the Best Digital Marketing Campaign category.

This prestigious award showcases the talent and impact of individuals, teams, and campaigns from the PR and communications industry.

The Best Digital Marketing Campaign category celebrates the best work in digital marketing including website communications, social media and other online channels. The awards ceremony for this event takes place this week on 30th March 2022. The awards have been judged by some of the biggest names in digital leadership, communications, and journalism.

It is fantastic to see the #5GCheckTheFacts campaign continues to build momentum, being shortlisted for this second award this year.

Throughout 2021, Mobile UK and our PR agency, Purplefish, worked collaboratively to produce an abundance of content for the #5GCheckTheFacts campaign. Material included our Climate Change & Connectivity report, a campaign promotional video, influencer contributions, and a collection of fact sheets.

Further to this, a series of mini-packs have been produced to showcase the benefits of 5G in various sectors. These mini-packs draw upon real-life case studies to highlight where the technology is already been utilised and how it can be implemented to revolutionise the way we live and work.

Sharing his thoughts on the recent nomination, Gareth Elliott, Director of Policy and Communications, states:

“We’re absolutely thrilled to see that the #5GCheckTheFacts campaign has been shortlisted for a second time this year. This nomination is a testament to the effort and hard work we have done as a team. Our focus continues to provide the public with the scientific facts surrounding 5G technology and raise awareness of it potential.”
