CGP Launch of the Future Leaders Programme Essay Collection
We are delighted to launch our Future Leaders Programme Essay Collection which addresses some of the biggest issues facing the next generation of UK Parliamentarians following a General Election in 2024.
Former Leader of the Conservative Party, First Secretary of State and UK Foreign Secretary Lord Hague has written the foreword for this collection and said:
The Future Leaders programme from the Coalition for Global Prosperity is, therefore, an invaluable initiative, helping parliamentary candidates to broaden their knowledge, connections and experiences on areas of foreign policy. From convening groups of senior political figures to advise candidates to arranging visits to refugee camps in the Middle East, the programme has empowered many soon-to-be MPs with the knowledge to speak with authority on foreign policy.
This collection features essays looking at key challenges such as critical minerals, water security and UK soft power.
