Ashford Borough Council – Wye: Ashford Independents gain from Conservative

Ovenden, Neil – Ashford Independents – 323 (43%) – elected
Cooling, Ian – Conservative – 240 (32%)
Evans, Elaine – UKIP – 97 (13%)
Meaden, Geoff – Green – 55 (7%)
Jones, Dylan – Labour – 22 (3%)
Blanshard, Ken – Lib Dem – 13 (2%)

Votes: 750 *number does not include spoilt ballots.
Turnout: 41%
Majority: 83

By-election held following the resignation of Conservative councillor Steve Wright.

Bury Metropolitan Borough Council – Ramsbottom: Conservative gain from Labour

Hodkinson, Robert – Conservative – 1, 398 (47%) – elected
Southworth, Sarah – Labour – 1, 033 (35%)
Barker, Dave – UKIP – 351 (12%)
Heath, Glyn – Green – 157 (5%)
Foss, David – Lib Dem – 38 (1%)
