Being a construction client isn’t just about creating the right building for the right price within the right timeframe. It is also an opportunity to solve some of the biggest economic, ethical and ecological problems we face today.

The challenges facing the housing market are well documented; too many people are living in expensive, unsuitable, poor-quality homes.

The UK construction sector, working in collaboration with UK manufacturers of cement and concrete, has a strong track record of reducing emissions from concrete construction. But there are opportunities to accelerate the adoption of new low carbon concretes and reduce the carbon emissions of our built environment even further.
