Addaction win Charity Learning Consortium Award
Addaction is delighted to announce that at the recent Charity Learning Awards it won the award for their e-learning and training for their Mutual Aid Partnership (MAP) project.
The award is for Most Effective Use of Moodle for Blended Learning for the training that Addaction have developed and is carried out in face to face settings as well as through online education programmes.
Funded by HEINEKEN in the UK, Addaction’s Mutual Aid Partnership (MAP) creates groups where people can talk about their problems, support each other and their peers, and tell organisations like Addaction what they require from the treatment on their road to recovery. The project’s aim is two-fold: to improve the chance of recovery from substance misuse problems and to reduce the harms associated with excessive alcohol consumption. The results produced are excellent and MAP continues to grow as a key part of treatment and sustained support.
Addaction is delighted that such training has been recognised in such a way.
