In a summary published today (Thursday 30 June) by the Commission on the Donor Experience, 22 projects show how experts working with the Commission will transform the culture of fundraising in the UK.

Michael Dent, Director of Fundraising, at Alzheimer’s Society, said: “Alzheimer’s Society is proud to be part of the Commission on the Donor Experience, working to safeguard vulnerable people, including those with dementia, by co-leading with Age UK on the ‘Fundraising and Vulnerability’ project.

“Public generosity is the lifeblood of charities, enabling them to continue their vital work. Working with the Institute of Fundraising, we are developing a framework which other charities can use to gain important insight from their supporters and people who use their services.  By sharing results and knowledge we will continue to build a safer, more trustworthy and mature attitude to fundraising that looks to safeguard every individual.”
