IPSE, the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed, is delighted to announce the five finalists for Ambassador of the Year at the IPSE Freelancer Awards 2019. The winner will be announced at the IPSE Freelancer Awards ceremony at Kings’ Place in London on 13 June 2019.

The Awards, now in their sixth year, recognise and celebrate the innovation and excellence of freelancers across the UK. IPSE ambassadors are the individuals and organisations working to support the UK’s freelancing community. They are people who provide products and services that make freelancers' working lives easier. They are the membership organisations, support groups, knowledge hubs and platforms that form the backbone of the flexible labour market.

The shortlisted organisations are:

  • Freelance Heroes
  • The Hoxby Collective
  • Mac&Moore
  • Museum Freelance
  • VIP VA

Chris Bryce, IPSE CEO, commented: “It’s important to remember that the IPSE Freelancer Awards aren’t just about freelancers themselves, but also the people and organisations that support them.

“For the last 10 years, these extraordinary people and organisations have underpinned the growth of the self-employed sector, making freelancers’ lives better and helping to spread the word about this dynamic and liberating way of working.

“The ambassadors this year were incredibly impressive and the judges had a very difficult time choosing between them. All of our finalists have done extremely well and are true champions of the self-employed sector.”
