Modern apprenticeship in court and tribunal operations now available
The first Modern Apprenticeship (MA) framework developed for the justice sector is now available in Scotland. The framework is specifically aimed at courts and tribunals operational roles.
Skills for Justice has worked with practitioners in the Scottish Court Service and Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunal Service to develop the Level 2 and Level 3 frameworks in Court and Tribunal Operations.
The apprenticeship provides learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding required for their roles. It aligns with the Courts and Tribunals apprenticeship in England and Wales supporting collaborative working and transferability across the sector.
This MA will be used to develop existing staff and to recruit and develop new staff supporting the technical operation of courts and tribunals in Scotland.
