RCEM Emergency Department Winter Flow Project Report - 5 February 2021

The report shows that there were 54,104 attendances (up from 53,145 the previous week), average Four Hour Standard Performance was 70.59% (down from 70.85% the previous week) and the number of 12 hour waits was 2,197 (down from 2,428 the previous week).

RCEM's weekly flow report provides updates on four hour standard performance at A&E, delayed transfers of care, acute bed capacity, cancelled elective operations and the number of 12 hour waits within emergency departments.

Data is collected from over 35 sites and together these data better reflect the pressures, constraints and consequences for system performance.
