By-election held following the resignation of Liberal Democrat councillor Ben McGilvray.

Cassam, Alex – Liberal Democrats – 482 votes (48.3%) **elected**
Kemp, Malcolm Kenneth – Labour Party – 63 votes (6.3%)
Moreland, David John – UK Independence Party – 112 votes (11.2%)
Whymark, Fran – Conservative Party – 341 votes (34.2%)

By-election held following the resignation of Independent councillor Shadique Gani.
