In the 12 months since our last national conference, Reform UK has achieved extraordinary success. Membership has tripled from 80,000 to 240,000, we’ve launched over 450 branches nationwide, and have now proudly elected over 870 Reform councillors
A year ago, we were polling at 19 per cent. Today, we consistently lead the polls with over 32 per cent. This success is driven by our determination to uphold British values, eliminate sleaze and corruption, and support the hard-working British taxpayer.
The era of out-of-touch career politicians, unaccountable and disloyal to their country, must come to an end. Only Reform will make that possible.
We are winning because, as Britain spirals into national decline, we are the only party confronting the real issues: uncontrolled immigration; soaring living costs; a broken housing market; energy bills among some of the world’s highest. Britain’s biggest wealth creators and employers are fleeing in droves for countries that reward business and incentivise growth.
Meanwhile, our immigration crisis is out of control, piling pressure on our economy, public services, and the NHS. This Labour government, arguably the most despised in our history, has betrayed the British people on a massive scale. Since taking power, it has abandoned nearly every campaign promise, overseen record levels of illegal immigration, and presided over a collapse in patriotism and national pride.
This is a party that has clobbered businesses with the rise in Employers’ National Insurance from 13.8 per cent to 15 per cent, destroyed employment prospects, and forced the closure of many small companies.
It has attacked our farming communities with sharp hikes to inheritance tax, targeting the very people who provide our food security, support 470,000 jobs nationwide, and contribute at least £11bn to the economy every year. It has given away sovereign territory, that we estimate at the expense of £50bn, and endangered our fishing industry by signing away fishing rights to the EU.
At Reform HQ, our mentality is simple: can’t stop, won’t stop
It seems every policy put forth by this Labour government is to the detriment of the British people. It is a party that has shown complete contempt for our heritage and our livelihoods. Reform’s commitment to free speech, upholding Britain’s values, and supporting families remains steadfast.
At Reform HQ, our mentality is simple: can’t stop, won’t stop. The stakes are too high. Without Reform in government, I fear this country will be beyond repair. Our staff know it, our leader knows it, and our members know it.
This year’s Reform national conference serves as a time to celebrate this year’s success, introduce our plan for the future, and hear from many of the newest members of our team.
Since adopting the role of chairman in June, my sole mission has been connecting with the membership and conveying the mission of our party across the country. Over the past 10 weeks, I’ve completed 16 tour dates across the UK, meeting more than 10,000 members, with another 40 stops planned before January.
We are now in uncharted political waters. We have won over the nation’s youngest voters, despite Labour’s desperate attempts to claim them. We are seeing defections from every major party on an almost daily basis, and we are attracting business leaders and voters from all ages and backgrounds.
Just a year ago, the idea of Reform UK as the next party of government would have been made a mockery of. Today, it is being seen as the reality. Reform UK now stands as the clear choice for those seeking real change in this country.
Our mission is to revive economic prosperity, tackle the illegal immigration crisis, and eliminate sleaze and corruption from political life. We are more prepared than ever to deliver on these promises.
