Local authority by-elections held 22/01/2015:

Wealden – Crowborough West: Conservative hold.

Staveley, Simon - UK Independence Party – 327 (41.29%)
Towey, Jeannette - Conservative– 465 (58.71%) **elected**

Votes: 792
Turnout: 20.5%
Majority: 138

By-election held following the death of Conservative Councillor Antony Quin.

Fife – Kirkcaldy East: Scottish National Party hold.

Adams, Peter - UKIP – 117 (3.79%)
Cook, Edgar – Conservative – 223 (7.23%)
Easton, Liz – Labour – 1088 (35.27%)
Hunter, Ronald – Independent – 19 (0.62%)
Leslie, Callum - Liberal Democrats – 40 (1.3%)
Macintyre, Alastair – Independent – 12 (0.39%)
Penman, Marie - Scottish National Party – 1460 (47.33%) **elected**
Reid, Claire - Green Party – 126 (4.08%)

Penman, Marie - Scottish National Party – elected under the Alternative Vote (AV) voting system at Stage 6

Votes: 3085
Turnout: 27.27%
Majority: 372

By-election held following the resignation of Scottish National Party Councillor Arthur Morrison.
