Gwynedd Council – Bowydd and Rhiw: Plaid Cymru hold.

By-election held following the resignation of Plaid Cymru councillor Paul Thomas.

London Borough of Kingston upon Thames – St James: Conservative hold.

Cheetham, Jack – Conservative – 1123 (42.86%) **elected**
Dunkling, Stephen – Labour – 355 (13.54%)
Nelson, Alex – Green Party – 71 (3%)
Roberts, Ben – UK Independence Party – 206 (7.86%)
Wookey, Annette – Liberal Democrats – 865 (33.01%)

Votes: 2,620*
Turnout: 39.16%
Majority: 258

By-election held following the death of Conservative councillor Howard Jones.

Nottinghamshire County Council – Ollerton and Boughton: Labour hold.

Bradley, Ben – Conservative – 533 (25.7%)
Hart, Colin – UK Independence Party – 347 (16.72%)
Pringle, Michael – Labour – 1,171 (56.43%) **elected**
Rayner, Marylyn – Liberal Democrats – 24 (1.15%)

Votes: 2,075*
Turnout: 24.64%
Majority: 638

By-election held following the death of Labour councillor Stella Smedley MBE.

Nottinghamshire County Council: Labour 33, Conservative 21, Liberal Democrats 8, Mansfield Independent Forum 2, Independent 2, Selston Area Independents – Putting People First 1 – No overall control.
