Good Things Foundation contributes to new report on integration

Today The All Party Parliamentary Group on Social Integration has released a new report - Integration not Demonisation - concluding their enquiry into the integration of immigrants, and we’re pleased to have been able to contribute with information on our English My Way programme.

In amongst the many findings, the Group has renewed ‘its call for compulsory English classes and argues that fluency in English should be viewed as the right of every citizen - and must be extended to everyone in our society regardless of their country of origin or gender’.

A headline stat is that as many as 800,000 immigrants have poor or no proficiency of English language.

We’re very proud of our English My Way programme and the positive impact it’s had on communities to-date. We’re delighted that it has been included in this report and we were very pleased to contribute.
