Veterinary surgeons reminded to pay annual renewal fee

RCVS | Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) is reminding veterinary surgeons that they need to pay their annual renewal fee by the end of April or they will have to pay a higher fee.

Veterinary surgeons have until 30 April to pay the fee or the amount they have to pay will increase by £35 – this applies across all registration categories. Any veterinary surgeons who fail to pay by 31 May will have their names removed from the Register, making it illegal for them to practise veterinary surgery.

This week letters have been sent to 4,318 veterinary surgeons who have not yet paid reminding them that the annual renewal fee is due.

Payment can be made by returning the renewal reminder form by post with a cheque or bank draft, by bank transfer or through the online ‘My Account’ area (www.rcvs.org.uk/login).

Those wishing to pay online will need to use the security details sent to them in February. If these have been lost or misplaced the veterinary surgeon should contact the RCVS Registration Department on 020 7202 0707.

Any veterinary surgeons who have received an annual renewal reminder letter but who have set up a Direct Debit or believe they have already paid should contact the RCVS Finance Department on 020 7202 0723.
